By October 25, 2025Connecticut, Rhode Island, Top News

Connecticut wholesaler B.United International and Rhode Island wholesaler Barrel Express are distributing its Oxford, Connecticut-based brew line, Ordinem Ecentrici Coctores (OEC). The three businesses are run by the husband-and-wife team of Ben and Jie, who have created Asian-inspired beers by blending their unique backgrounds. Ben, who was born and raised in Germany, brought traditional German brewing techniques to the offerings and Jie, originally from China, introduced distinctive Asian flavors by taking inspiration from her family and culture. This fusion enables them to craft one-of-a-kind brews that pair perfectly with Asian cuisine. Brews include Baihu Jasmine IPA, 6.5% ABV; Yuzu Pils, 5.2% ABV; Oolong Kölsch, 4.8% ABV; and Emerald Dragon Weizen, 5.5% ABV. Ordinem Ecentrici Coctores was rated one of The 30 Best Breweries in the Country Right Now, According to Beer Bars in 2023 by Vinepair.
