241 Main Street
East Greenwich, RI

Ferrara’s on Main Street is a recently opened steak boutique with an elevated cocktail program. Founded on the principles of culinary artistry and genuine hospitality, the venue blends high-end steakhouse experiences with a trendy, casual vibe. From within the walls of its red and black exterior, the main dining room features a mix of booth seating and traditional tables, bright and modern among rustic elements and woodwork. In fair weather, seating tracks along the front windows as well as an outdoor patio area situated directly on the sidewalk for seasonal al fresco dining. A draw to the venue’s experiential atmosphere is its tableside presentation, which features interactive menu additions like Wagyu beef served on a hot rock and large Tomahawk steaks carved right at your table. Its centrally located bar is equipped with three flat-screen TVs, featuring a wood-styled bar top and shelves lined with premium spirits. It’s from there that its bar program shines creating seasonal and signature sips.

Cocktail: Fall Smoke and Mirrors

Ingredients:

  • 1.25 oz. Mi Campo Blanco Tequila
  • .25 oz. Illegal Blanco Mezcal
  • .75 oz. lime juice
  • .75 oz. triple sec
  • 2 oz. apple cider
  • Garnish: star anise and apple slice

The Fall Smoke and Mirrors.

Method: Pour all ingredients in shaker. Shake well with ice. Strain into glass with fresh ice. Garnish with star anise and apple slice. Smoke with applewood smoke chips.

“We wanted something that actually tastes like fall without turning into a liquid dessert. Pairing the smoky, earthy depth of mezcal with bright tequila and crisp apple cider hits that exact sweet spot,” said Owner Daniel Ferrara. “It’s cozy and complex from the smoke, but still has that sharp, refreshing snap you want from a proper margarita. It basically tastes like standing by a bonfire on a crisp autumn night.”
