The Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival returned for its 20th year with a weekend of wine dinners, seminars, tastings and brunches on Sept. 19-21. Guests had the opportunity to taste and experience wines and spirits from every major wine region and enjoy dishes from artisanal food purveyors, top restaurants and guests from within the industry. The first day of seminars on Friday, Sept. 19 at Rosecliff gave guests more than a dozen educational opportunities to attend and enjoy, followed by many more Saturday and Sunday, each designed to “broaden our understanding and appreciation of fine food, wine and spirits,” said Trudy Coxe, CEO and Executive Director, The Preservation Society of Newport County. Ticket proceeds benefited The Preservation Society of Newport County’s work to maintain a collection of 11 historic properties that are vital to Newport’s tourism economy.
