The Brass City Brew Fest & Beyond, formerly the Brass City Brew & ’Que festival, returned to Library Park in Waterbury on Sept. 20, offering a greater variety of beverage tastes. Guests enjoyed more than 200 types of craft and specialty brews, plus ready-to-drink cocktail brands, wine, ciders, spirits and more. Organized by Main Street Waterbury with the support of the Waterbury Regional Chamber and the City of Waterbury, the rebranded festival also featured eats from local food trucks Alltown Fresh, TT’s BBQ, Boru’s Bar and Grill, The O.G. Gyro Guy and Los Mariachis. Sponsored by the Republican-American and Grand Street Tavern, festivalgoers enjoyed live music from PULSE, a game zone and festival contests during the afternoon. All proceeds benefited Main Street Waterbury, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) with the mission to advocate, educate and collaborate for the revitalization and enhancement of downtown Waterbury.
