WHAT: The Rhode Island Hospitality Association (RIHA) will host its annual awards gala, The Anchors (Awards for Noteworthy Champions of Hospitality and Outstanding Restaurant Service), at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence. Everyone in the industry is invited to join RIHA for the evening to celebrate the best Rhode Island-based professionals in hospitality.

Categories include Restaurant Employee of the Year, Tourism Employee of the Year, Bartender of the Year, Emerging Leader of the Year and more, with two to three nominations allowed per category. Finalists are nominated by their bosses, co-workers and even their customers. Winners are voted on by the public and elected officials of the board and receive a trophy to take home.
