
Narragansett’s Coast Guard House, in collaboration with Wine Wizards and The Savory Grape, hosted a pairing dinner featuring wines from Goldschmidt Vineyards on Sept. 9. Nick Goldschmidt, Owner and Winemaker, was in attendance to present the wines with Jessica Granatiero, Founder, The Savory Grape, and the Wine Wizards team. Guests enjoyed an elaborate multicourse meal created by Jamie Welsh, Pastry Chef, Coast Guard House. During the evening, guests enjoyed Goldschmidt Vineyards Fidelity Sauvignon Blanc, Chelsea Goldschmidt Guidestone Rise Merlot, Game Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon, Yoeman Cabernet Sauvignon and Forefathers Lone Tree Cabernet Sauvignon. Owned and managed by Nick and Yolyn Goldschmidt, Goldschmidt Vineyards produces its renowned wines with grapes grown in the Alexander Valley and Oakville appellations. Known for its single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons, the winery has received many accolades, including 90-plus-point scores from Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, James Suckling and The Tasting Panel.
