Worldwide Wines Welcomes New Wineries

By September 2, 2025Connecticut, Top News

Worldwide Wines added several new wineries to its portfolio. The first is Auteur winery in Sonoma, California. A vintner-founded winery, the team is committed to the best farming practices and works with a community of passionate winegrowers, chefs, wine collectors and dedicated clientele crafting focused, well-farmed Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Northern California. Next, Caterwaul Wines offers Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon by Matt Hardin and Thomas Rivers Brown. Hardin, a sixth-generation Napa Valley resident and farmer, as well as Owner and Managing Partner of Matthew Wallace Wines and Hardin Clark Vineyard Management, works with Brown, Winemaker for some of Napa and Sonoma’s most iconic labels, and has more than 60 100-point wines on his résumé. From North Fork, Bedell Cellars is a pioneering, family-owned winery in the Long Island winegrowing region. Kip and Susan Bedell first planted grapevines in 1980, with Kip earning the title Mr. Merlot from Wine Spectator. In 2000, the winery sold to the Lynee family, who continue to craft award-winning wines. Lastly, family-run Whitcraft Winery of Santa Barbara, which is celebrating 40 years of making wine with its signature handcrafted varietals: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah among them. Chris and Kathleen (Barnato) Whitcraft started the winery in 1985 and passed on that passion to their children, Drake and Alyssa. While Chris passed away in 2014, Drake carries on the tradition of winemaking within the Whitcraft family.
