
Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island, a nonprofit whose mission is to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, hosted its Wine & Wishes fundraiser at The Guild in Pawtucket on June 5. Representatives and brands from multiple suppliers and distributors were on-site to pour beer, wine and spirits selections for guests, including MS Walker, Fiddlehead Brewing Company, 1911 Established, Cape Cod’r, Deep Eddy Vodka, The Guild, Ghost Tequila, Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island, Maison Ferrand, Surfside Iced Tea + Vodka, Tapped Apple Cidery & Winery, Whalers Brewing Company and more. Guests paired beverage selections with food from local food trucks and took part in auctions and raffles, with proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The tasting event raised approximately $74,000, which will support wish fulfillment for six children.
