
Wines from the Zamora Company were highlighted during a pairing lunch at Max’s Oyster Bar in West Hartford on Aug. 8. Hosted by Brescome Barton, in collaboration with Max Hospitality, the event was part of the Max Lunch Club series of events, hosted by Max’s Oyster Bar each Friday highlighting special guests from wineries around the world. Sadia de Boer, Market Manager, Zamora Company USA, was in attendance to educate guests on the selected Spanish wines: Ramón Bilbao Early Harvest Verdejo, Mar de Frades Albariño, Cruz de Alba Ribera del Duero Crianza and Ramón Bilbao Rioja Reserva. Guests enjoyed a four-course meal prepared by the culinary team at Max’s Oyster Bar, which included grilled octopus with crispy fingerling potatoes and Castelvetrano olive relish and roasted Iberico pork tenderloin with saffron rice, romano beans and pork demi-glace.
