Located just outside of Calistoga, Napa Valley, Amici Cellars is a family-owned winery nestled in the foothills of the Palisades, where it is dedicated to producing true-to-varietal wines from exceptional vineyard sources. Offerings include Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Sonoma County Chardonnay and Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc. Amici Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is described as a “luscious and beautifully balanced wine” with aromas of blackberry jam and dark chocolate laced with hints of baking spice and tobacco leaf. A full-bodied palate presents notes of wild blackberry, dark chocolate and toasty oak with silky tannins laced throughout the long finish. The Russian River Valley Pinot Noir opens with aromas of cranberry, cherry pie, sassafras and forest floor as layers of complexity follow on the palate, showcasing vibrant notes of blackberry and raspberry along with toasty oak and silky tannins that flow through the smooth, lengthy finish.
