Alpine Country Club is an equity member-owned venue that blends historic Italian American roots with an elevated, high-volume beverage program. Established in 1948 and operating at its current site since 1962, this premier destination caters to over 350 active family memberships through high-traffic banquet operations, premium à la carte dining, and curated events. Its beverage service is anchored by the Grille Room, showcasing a custom dark cherry wood bar that serves as a hub for golfers and casual diners. The back-bar strategy emphasizes custom craft cocktails, high-end spirits, and selective wine pairings. This supports its robust on-premise culinary operation, ranging from sunlight-flooded fine dining in the leather-accented Alpine Room to large-scale banquet setups in the dark-wood Tyrolean Room, and al fresco service on the scenic outdoor patio. Themed programs include specialized wine, game, cigar, and holiday dinners.

The Italian Old Fashioned at Alpine Country Club.
Method: Add bitters, simple syrup, and bourbon to a rocks glass. Then add a large cube and stir. Top with Averna and garnish with the cherry. Express the oils from the orange peel and place it in the cocktail.
This first-of-fall-season cocktail is the club’s personal take on a classic Old Fashioned, which pays tribute to the Italian heritage of the club. Bartender Jessica Paine explained, “The members at Alpine love to sit by the fire pit, smoke a cigar, and enjoy an Old Fashioned during the perfect fall evening.”
“I decided to pair it with the orange bitters because the citrus highlights the aromatic notes in the Averna. This drink makes for a perfect addition to our fall menu, warming you up from the inside,” she said.
