Connecticut team from Monsieur Touton Selection, Ltd., participated in the annual Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival hosted Sept. 19-21. Sales team showcased Alma del Jaguar Tequila in the event’s weekend tasting tent on the grounds of historic Rosecliff. Handcrafted, small-batch spirits produced with single-estate agave from the highlands of Jalisco, Alma del Jaguar was founded with a unique vision: to create an exceptional tequila that celebrates tradition while supporting conservation efforts. Inspired by his uncle Rick Williams’ work with the Northern Jaguar Project, Founder McCauley Williams built a brand on quality and purpose. The tequila is made at NOM 1414, where Master Distiller Sergio Cruz brings decades of expertise to Alma del Jaguar, ensuring that every batch maintains the highest standards of quality by using slow-cooking processes in traditional brick ovens and artisanal aging in oak barrels. Festival proceeds supported The Preservation Society of Newport County’s work to preserve its collection of 11 historic properties.
