
Brescome Barton hosted a tasting and education with Ezequiel Acosta, Global Director, Nieto Senetiner, at Il Gabbiano in New Haven on Oct. 21. Acosta joined representatives from Foley Family Wines & Spirits and Brescome Barton for the event, where he led them through the Argentinian winery’s history and background and its winemaking techniques. During the afternoon guided tasting, the team enjoyed Nieto Senetiner Camila Malbec, Malbec, Don Nicanor Malbec, Don Nicanor Barrel Select Malbec and Villa Blanca Estate Malbec. Founded in 1888, Nieto Senetiner is one of Argentina’ oldest wineries. It specializes in Malbecs, with grapes sustainably grown in Lujan de Cuyo and the Uco Valley.
