The Newport Beer Run took place on July 19 at Fort Adams State Park, hosting approximately 1,300 runners and beer fans on-site. Forty breweries each served at least three styles, offering a total of more than 120 different tastes. Produced by Gray Matter Marketing, a portion of the proceeds were donated to the charitable beneficiary partner, Rhode Island Brewers Guild, which works in support of the growth of craft beer and brewing in Rhode Island.
