Mancini Beverage welcomed La Pulga Tequila to Rhode Island with a party at Castle Hill Inn in Newport on July 16. Team from both La Pulga and Mancini Beverage were in attendance for an informal education and dinner featuring the Fort Worth, Texas-based brand. During the evening, guests enjoyed several cocktails featuring the tequila line, which includes Blanco, Reposado and Añejo expressions. La Pulga’s Mezcal and Sotol were also showcased. Guests enjoyed small plates and passed canapes while taking in the ocean views from the grounds of the historic Castle Hill Inn. Founded by friends Sarah Castillo, Andrew De La Torre and Stephen Slaughter, La Pulga’s artisanal tequilas offer a high-quality taste, free of any additives. Named for a well-known traditional outdoor market in Fort Worth called La Pulga, where people come together in shared celebration and friendship, the trio chose the name for a spirit that embodies togetherness and honors cultural heritage. La Pulga Tequila is crafted in small batches from only the ripest 100% blue Weber agave grown in the high altitude of the Jalisco Highlands. Each La Pulga varietal is packaged in an eye-catching and easy-to-pour bottle, sealed with a premium cork stopper and adorned with a keepsake La Pulga medallion.
