Torrington’s Warner Theatre will host its Annual Wine & Food Tasting and fundraiser: Sips, Spirits and Snacks on Oct. 25. Held in partnership with Torrington’s The Cork Fine Wine & Spirits, the event will feature a party with a Prohibition-era theme along with tastings of wine, local craft beer, spirits and food from local restaurants, all taking place in the theatre’s Main and Studio Theatre lobbies. A VIP hour will be hosted in the VIP room, located in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre, where guests will be treated to a private tasting of premium wine and spirits with catered cuisine and fine chocolates, along with live entertainment. Sponsored by Thomaston Savings Bank, Torrington Savings Bank, and iHeart Media, the event benefits the Warner Theatre, a non-profit performing arts center bringing an array of concerts and cultural events to the northwestern Connecticut area. The Cork Fine Wine & Spirits will also donate 10% of its sales from the evening to benefit Warner Theatre. Event is 21+ with valid ID required.
