
A cocktail competition hosted on Elm City Social’s rooftop bar highlighted spirits from Hotaling & Co. on June 30. During the Back to the 90s Cocktail Showdown, nine bartenders donned ’90s apparel while mixing up cocktails inspired by the decade using Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur and BarSol Pisco for competition judges Genna Bestmann, Bar Manager, The Owl Shop; Moriah Aronson, Bar Manager, Bar Max; and Laura Kanzler, Regional Sales Manager, Hotaling & Co. The winners were: first place: Tom Stokes, Dive Bar; second place: Jose Colon, Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill; third place: Conrad Meurice, Six One Nine Supper Club; and People’s Choice: Nate Zalegowski, Gioia Cafe and BAR New Haven. Available through Hotaling & Co., Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur and BarSol Pisco are distributed in the state by Slocum & Sons/Eder Bros., Inc.
