Tito’s Handmade Vodka and wholesaler Martignetti Companies hosted its fourth annual Block to Block project in Hartford on Oct. 10. A group of volunteers from Tito’s and Martignetti planted fruit trees and built a pavilion in the city’s Watkinson Community Garden, which will allow Knox, Inc., to host educational programming about gardening and healthy eating for the community. Love, Tito’s, the philanthropic heart of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, supported the project as part of the company’s Love, Tito’s Block to Block program. Knox, Inc., works to preserve Hartford’s greenspace and improve the local environment to support the health of all local residents. Watkinson Garden is one of Knox, Inc.’s 21 community gardens and is home to garden plots for 20 Hartford families.
