Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), hosted a visit with Felix Jermann of Italy’s renowned Jermann Estate Winery during a sales meeting on Sept. 25. Jermann is the sixth generation of the family-owned winery, which is located in Italy’s Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. Jermann guided the CDI team through a tasting that showcased the estate’s celebrated white wines while sharing insights into the family’s winemaking heritage and commitment to sustainability. He spoke about the estate’s dedication to biodiversity—using organic compounds, cover crops and sustainable land management to nurture vineyards that support more than 75 to 130 species of plants and wildlife.
