The Preserve Sporting Club & Resort is an amenity-rich club and destination, complete with event venue offerings, multiple dining options and a variety of luxury accommodations. Set amid 3,500 pristine acres, The Preserve offers members, residents and guests four seasons of a variety of outdoor activities, including world-class sporting clays, stocked fishing ponds, upland hunting, zip-lining, rock climbing, mountain biking, tennis, archery, cross-country skiing, hiking and equestrian trails, and a championship 18-hole golf course. Its 2,000-square-foot spa facility caters to the sporting and luxury lifestyle with unique treatments geared toward adventure seekers and nature lovers. For events, the cuisine and beverage team offers world-class delights for residents and guests alike, whether enjoying a dining experience at one of the property’s Hobbit Houses or hosting an event at the new Event Barn. Cocktail: Guide My Sleigh Tonight

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. Maker’s Mark
  • .5 oz. Luxardo maraschino liqueur
  • .25 oz. Italicus liqueur
  • .5 oz. each lemonade and Sprite
  • Cranberry and cherry grenadine frozen orb
  • Garnish: mini candy cane

The Guide My Sleigh Tonight.

Method: Rim rocks glass with green sugar. Combine ingredients over ice and lightly shake. Place orb into rocks glass. Strain cocktail over the orb into rocks glass. Add mini candy cane garnish.

“When I think of the holidays, I think of candy and Rudolph. I wanted to pay a fun tribute to an old-fashioned Christmas with this cocktail, Guide My Sleigh Tonight, even down to the nose, which is represented with the cranberry and cherry ice orb,” said Bar Manager Paul Hassel. “My hope is that when a guest orders this cocktail or someone creates it at home, each sip fills them up with holiday spirit.”
