
Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), hosted a pairing dinner featuring the wines of Domaine Bousquet at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in West Hartford on Sept. 12. Tim Wilkes, Winery Ambassador, Domaine Bousquet, joined the CDI team to present the wines to guests and give them the backstory of the brand. Guests enjoyed a five-course meal prepared by Chef Headley Wilson and the culinary team at Fleming’s. During the evening, guests enjoyed Domaine Bousquet Ameri Single Vineyard Red Blend, Gran Chardonnay, Sparkling Brut Rosé, Ameri Single Vineyard Malbec, Ameri Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Dulce Malbec. Domaine Bousquet is a leading exporter of USDA Organic and Regenerative Organic Certified wine from Argentina, produced from grapes grown in the Uco Valley of Mendoza. The winery was founded by the Bousquet family, who is from the South of France and brings four generations of winemaking tradition to Domaine Bousquet’s unique terroir of the Andes Mountains.

- One of the appetizers, Pulpo a la Gallega: grilled octopus with aji molido and lemon oil, was paired with Domaine Bousquet Gran Chardonnay.
- The mid-course, Casa Sarabella Chicken with honey gold potatoes, baby bell peppers, blistered Campari tomatoes and chimichurri verde, was paired with Domaine Bousquet Gaia Nouveau Malbec and Ameri Single Vineyard Malbec.
