Andrea Nappi Conforme was appointed by the National Association of Beverage Importers’ (NABI) Board as its incoming President, as current NABI President Robert “Rob” Tobiassen announced his retirement at the end of September. Conforme brings more than a decade of legal, compliance and regulatory industry experience to the role. She most recently served as an alcohol regulatory attorney at a top AmLaw 100 firm in Washington, D.C., working closely with federal government agencies and numerous importers and distributors with their legal, compliance and licensing needs. This included franchise advisory, monthly gallonage and excise tax reporting inquiries, extended producer responsibility and licensing strategy. Members include Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits; Infinium Spirits; Kobrand Corporation Wine and Spirits; Mast-Jägermeister; MHW, Ltd.; Palm Bay International, Inc.; Terlato Wine Group; United States Distilled Products Co.; Winebow Imports; and Winesellers, Ltd.
