Votto Vines welcomes a new expression from Smugglers’ Notch Distillery: Smugglers’ Notch Distillery Stowe Sparkle. The clean neutral spirit is made from winter wheat and corn, with a light and smooth flavor and a “hint of spicy tingle on the finish.” Stowe Sparkle is made with the award-winning Smugglers’ Notch Distillery Vodka—featuring 60% water from a local source—which gives the spirit a truly Vermont terroir. Owned by father-and-son team Jeremy and Ron Elliott, the distillery was founded in 2006 at the foot of the Smugglers’ Notch, the site of many a bootlegger’s run through the famed, rugged Vermont mountain pass. Using the finest ingredients blended with pristine Vermont spring water, the team makes, barrel-ages, blends and hand-bottles distinctive, award-winning spirits one small batch at a time.
