Domaine Doreau Aligoté 2023, Monthélie Vieilles Vignes 2022, Monthélie 1er Cru “Les Champs Fulliots” 2022 and Meursault “En Gargouillot” 2023.
Votto Vines Importing welcomed new French wines from Domaine Doreau, a family-run estate in Monthélie, Burgundy. Handed down since the late 19th century and today managed by Jérôme and Émilie Doreau, the 6-hectare domain is certified Haute Valeur Environnementale Level 3 (2019), reflecting its commitment to sustainable, eco-conscious viticulture. The winery team employs manual harvests, natural fermentations without added yeast and élevage in French oak barrels, about 10% new for 12 to 15 months to allow the terroir to shine through. The wines—ranging from Monthélie Vieilles and Premier Cru to Pommard and Bourgogne Aligoté—embody purity, finesse and a true expression of Côte de Beaune terroir. Four new wines to Connecticut are: Domaine Doreau Aligoté 2023, Monthélie Vieilles Vignes 2022, Monthélie 1er Cru “Les Champs Fulliots” 2022 and Meursault “En Gargouillot” 2023.
