
Brescome Barton hosted a pairing dinner featuring Código Tequila at Zina’s Cucina in Marlborough on June 24. Brescome Barton’s Jillian Carey, Account Development Manager, and Dave Marino, Sales Representative, were in attendance to give guests an education on Código Tequila. During the evening, guests enjoyed four courses of cuisine paired with tequila tastes and cocktails featuring the Código Tequila line, including Rosa Blanco, Reposado, Blanco and Cristalino Reposado. Código 1530 100% agave azul tequilas—available in Blanco, Añejo, Barrel Strength Añejo, Reposado, George Strait Origen Extra Añejo and Rosa expressions—are made using hand-selected, fully matured agave from Amatitán, Mexico, from freshwater pools and rainwater. Each batch is then filtered through the volcanic soil of Los Bajos and aged in the finest Napa Valley Cabernet French white oak wine barrels through the family’s time-honored aging technique rather than the more commonly used American whiskey barrels.
