
Save the Bay, the charitable organization dedicated to the preservation of Narragansett Bay, hosted its annual Taste of the Bay fundraising event at the Bay Center in Providence on June 12. The event showcased food and drink from more than 30 vendors, including local restaurants, shellfish purveyors and bakeries. Over 20 local restaurants offered festival eats, including Boat House Waterfront Dining, Bristol Oyster Bar, Giusto, Matunuck Oyster Bar, McGrath Clambakes and Mill’s Tavern, with beverages from Buttonwoods Brewery, Fishers Island Lemonade, Greenvale Vineyards, Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island, Island Coquito, Narragansett Beer, Rejects Beer Co., Rhode Island Spirits, Spiribam, Tapped Apple Cidery & Winery, Velo Vodka and White Dog Distilling. All proceeds benefited Save the Bay’s advocacy, restoration and education efforts.
