Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), recently welcomed The Wine Group (TWG) to its portfolio of supplier partners. One of the world’s foremost producers of award-winning wines, The Wine Group recently finalized the acquisition of several premium and ultra-premium brands from Constellation Brands, Inc., now available through CDI. The acquisition includes labels such as Cook’s, J. Rogét, Meiomi, Robert Mondavi Private Selection, SIMI and Woodbridge. In addition, TWG acquired three new production facilities and 6,600 vineyard acres across California, with nearly 500 employees joining their team. At a recent General Sales Meeting, CDI hosted The Wine Group’s Bryan Skupien, Regional Director Northeast, and Chris Parkin, State Sales Manager for CT, ME and VT, who shared the story behind the company’s growth, mission and newly acquired portfolio.
