F&F Distributors Adds Stomping Horse Wines

By July 25, 2025Connecticut, Top News

Stomping Horse Chardonneigh and Thoroughblend.

New London-based F&F Distributors added Connecticut-founded Stomping Horse Wines to its portfolio this summer. The brand was founded by horse lovers, wine lovers and philanthropists Dawn Page, Steven Shewbrooks and Byron Brewer. Their goal was to create fine wines that bring together their passions, now in a fully realized locally based wine company whose offerings are bottled directly in Washington State’s Columbia Valley. Its white and red releases, each named with a horse-meets-wine play on words, are Stomping Horse Chardonneigh Washington Columbia Valley 2021, 100% Chardonnay, and Thoroughblend 2020, 65% Mourvèdre, 27% Syrah, 5% Grenache, 1% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Viognier, from Washington’s Yakima and Columbia valleys. The wine sales also help support human equine therapy and horse rescue efforts. Page’s horse Trouper, a former racetrack rescue, serves as the model for Stomping Horse’s wine labels.
