The Sun Tequila Tasting returned to Mohegan Sun’s casino and resort on May 8. Sponsored by Casamigos, Cointreau, Don Julio and Espolòn Tequila, the annual event provided a brand showcase of agave-based spirits from a variety of suppliers and distributors, with tequila, mezcal, margaritas and more. Guests enjoyed tequila tastes and cocktails with live entertainment on the venue’s Sun Patio. Partygoers also mixed their own margaritas using the Cointreau Blender Bike, played games, snapped pictures at a variety of photo booths and enjoyed live music by DJ D-Ave and Fiesta del Norte throughout the evening. Tequila fans paired the many offerings with savory Mexican fare provided by La Mesa and Nando’s Authentic Mexican Food. A portion of ticket sales benefited the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut Young Leaders United.
