Providence’s Narragansett Brewery hosted a trivia night and fundraiser benefiting the Joe Andruzzi Foundation on Aug. 19. Former New England Patriot and three-time Super Bowl Champion Joe Andruzzi was in attendance for the evening to lead trivia, with his wife, Jen, President and CEO of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation. As a tie-in to the festive event, it was also Andruzzi’s 50th birthday party. Guests enjoyed light bites and a variety of Narragansett brews on tap while competing in friendly competition. Proceeds from the event benefited the Joe Andruzzi Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing financial assistance and hope to New England cancer patients and their families. Since its founding, the organization has provided more than $13 million in assistance to over 47,000 New England cancer patients and families, easing the burden of everyday expenses during treatment.
