The Town of Newington hosted a beer and cocktail tasting at Mill Pond Park on July 18. Sponsored by Happy Harry’s and Bowl-O-Rama, guests enjoyed craft beer from several local breweries and ready-to-drink cocktails in the event’s beer garden. Band Spirit Shaker provided the musical backdrop for the evening while guests paired beverages with eats from more than 20 food trucks. Proceeds from the event benefited the Newington Parks & Recreation department.
